I almost went there on Sunday. Looks like you were on the Dedham end? (http://www.newtonconservators.org/map23cutler.htm) I went to Nahanton Park instead (http://www.newtonconservators.org/map22nahanton.htm). The turtles are out by the Charles. There was a dead screech on the rocks on Wells Ave (http://www.newtonconservators.org/map24charleswells.htm) but a live Red Tail Hawk in the sky. Plenty of dogs around...

Yeah, I haven't spent much time at the other end. We like the Dedham end because there are fewer people and dogs there. Much more peaceful.

I think the dogs can smell the treats in my pockets. I toss them away from me when a dog charges me!
