I didn't get any real good ones today, but there were some nice opportunities. Alexis voted for this one because it was "the most mysterious."

I've tried to get this bird (or another of its species) perched on this little island numerous times, but it's usually so high that it looks like a speck when I include the river in the photo. This time, perched nicely lower, the dim lighting of a cloudy evening made for a slow shutter speed and a blurry image.

Same issue. I like that I've seen numerous animals of various species perched on this same log.

This is the flotsam that builds up at the culvert as the river passes under several hundred meters of Boston before emerging in the Fenway. This six foot culvert is going to be replaced with a 24 foot one as part of the restoration project, in a little more than a year. It will be interesting to see the changes.
