Dodder grapples with knotweed.

The Riverway is a convenient way to get to Fenway Park for a lot of people. Sometimes, excited after a game, they push the trash can over (it's concreted down), and sometimes they roll it into the river. It doesn't endear me toward sports and sports fans.

Aww, sports doesn't have to mean bin-pushing-over or other un-civic minded shenanigans. I follow a lot of the sports over here and the fans never do stuff like that. Some of them do litter alright which sucks, but they don't damage public and private property.

No doubt that it wasn't intended to be a good, but in a weird way, wouldn't an empty trash can like that be a net plus to the river? I mean, on a muddy river, it would probably provide an anchoring point for some plant life or crustaceans, and maybe act as a fish nursery.

I was doing some research on knitting graffiti and found this image that made me think of you

Thanks! It's nice that it was a beautiful thing that reminded you of me, and not a flatworm or something.
