Roadside Weeds

urbpanI encountered some colorful roadside weeds on my commute this morning.
Beach Rose Rosa rugosa
The fruit of Rosa rugosa: edible rose hips.
(With all these plant sex organs, this is kind of a weed porn post.)
Chicory, Cichorium intybus one of my all time favorite colors found in nature.
Butter-and-eggs, or (more fun to say) Toadflax. Linaria vulgaris
Queen Anne's Lace Dauca carota
Wild Carrot Dauca carota
Bird's Nest Dauca carota
All this holding still and taking photographs caused a dragonfly to land on me.
Once more, without the unsightly creature.
