I'm worried that it'll be sad, too. You can tell me how much I should brace myself, when I get to go.

I'd love to see some photos of the statues that didn't get completely carved out of the quarry--the ones that are still "attached" to the rocks.

The Birdman was the first one to bring back a sooty tern's egg intact.

i think maybe i'm too late? regardless, anything would be interesting to me! i love travel photos in general and just a couple weeks ago i read a novel set in rapa nui in particular, talking about both the present and the history.
