I'm dog-sitting for a friend's shib inu, and she will NOT walk with a coat on. She just sits like we've done something terrible to her! Then last night, she's playing in the snow, having fun, and suddenly starts yelping frntically like something bit her, and holding up her front paw. I thought she'd sprained it somehow. I pick her up and take her home, and she's fine. No problem with the paw. I called her mom and turns out if she gets an icicicle stuck between her web, she freaks out. Sure freaked this "owned by cats" person! :-)

The first picture is very similar to the one for this month on the free 13-month calendar I got yesterday at Ace Hardware. I like yours better because it looks like the weather really was and not like a storybook scene.
