Alternate title: Unidentified structures on some moss growing on a puddingstone outcropping on Schoolmaster hill in Franklin Park. This was one of two pictures I took during yesterday's Urban Nature Walk. Here's the other:

Date: 2010-04-11 05:17 pm (UTC)After googling those two words, it looks to me like the structures are the sterile bases that the sporangia grow from. The sporangia have broken off and blown away.
