I stopped to take a picture of an English garden snail. Then I found another. Then Alexis found a couple more. Then we had eleven snails on the wall, and six of them converged at the edge for some mysterious reason.

It's funny, but I too saw many snails today and it made me happy. Clearly I am not a gardener.

Yagagriswold and I spend a bunch of time yesterday going through the Sunday Globe funnies rating all the strips by how much they were improved by that punchline. A solid majority became noticeably funnier.
