Urban Nature Pictures 10/28

It's been so warm lately that my jack-o-lantern has grown gray mold.

So warm that the turtles came out of the river to bask.

Are those my favorite Muddy River turtles?

I dunno, which ones are your favorites?

The ones from that branch - I think it's between the Museum of Fine Arts and the Gardner. There's a few that I see all the time on my lunchtime perambulations, and these look like them. I'd know 'em anywhere. :-)

Our walks go from Parkway Road down the Landmark Center and back (or to the Longwood footbridge and back if we're pressed for time) :)

I love the stretch behind the MFA because that was where i first encountered it--a classmate took me out of the Mass Art cafeteria and led me there: "You must see this."

That pumpkin looks especially ghoulish now!
