

I'm very happy that snapshot number 1000 is my good friend Kikipuff standing in front of an about-to-bloom corpse flower, the largest unbranched flower species in the world.

Dusky slugs grazing algae off of a shed door.

A garter snake keeps vigil for slugs or other prey animals in front of a different shed.

A carpenter ant carries a chunk of American lady butterfly toward a hole under yet another shed.
