Amanda and Widget.


Widget was found as a chick, after the tree he was living in was cut down. After a stint at a wildlife rehabilitator he came to be an educational animal for the zoo.

My mom has these guys living in her mahogany tree down in Fla. Do you know what flavor owl they are? She's named them Desmond and Molly.

I think those are also screech owls. The second, red one definitely is. The gray one seems a little off, like the proportions are a little weird, but there's not much else it could be.

Aww. They had some great owls on Spring Watch the other day. A little owl and an eagle owl. The eagle owl was ENORMOUS!
