3:00 snapshot #1709: Sunday or "Gonna party like it's moai birthday"

This craptastic selfie is my 3:00 snapshot, like it or not. Someone in the bar saw me doing it and came over to do it right.



Okay, well we can see everybody in this one and it's very lovely, but the rule is that I have to take the picture (for some reason. Who made these rules?)

So yes, last Friday was my birthday, which meant that I spent the whole weekend celebrating as much as I could manage. On Sunday we went to Flann O'Brien's with Alex and met up with our friends who recently moved to the neighborhood from New York. I had a full Irish breakfast with extra black pudding in place of bacon because I love black pudding that much.


In the bathroom there was a message letting you know not to believe that crap about this person's cat.


Alex pulled out all the stops on the birthday presents! Fancy bourbon, and an ice cube tray that makes ice cubes that look like Rapa Nui Moai!


Also she got me a Moai.
