Dogtown 08

This past Sunday, Alex and Jim and Charlie and I went to Dogtown.  Alexis and Maggie stayed home because of Maggie's hurt leg.  Dogtown is a former colonial village that was abandoned around the time of the Revolutionary war.  It's a great place to hike, and a favorite place for us to take our dogs because we can take them off leash.  Unfortunately, the secret is out--this sign is new, and we saw many more people on this visit than any other.  Hopefully it will still be a favorite hiking place for us as long as we stay in New England.( Read more... )
