When I posted this one, I wondered if I should hold off on posting the adelgid so I could use it for another post.
The little tree above has thicker, longer needles than a hemlock. If anything, it looks kind of like a yew that's been strung out into xmas tree form. I need to take a forestry class or something.

Firs are generally fuller, branches more upright and needles rounded about the twigs.
