Stanley Park is one of the nicest city parks I've ever been to.

The skyline somehow looks tiny, just because of the sheer number of tall buildings of uniform height. But the park is gorgeous. Oh, this whole series makes me miss the Pacific Northwest so much...

Yeah, the city looks oddly like a monoculture lawn... Someone must have come along and mowed the buildings!

I bet when you get closer up, it looks more diverse.

I think they have regulations on how high one can build so that it doesn't interfere with the beauty of the mountains. It sounds silly, but its true.

Were the streets paved in gold? Was there free education and health care? Did strangers just walk up and hand you fresh baked chocolate chip cookies? If that's not how it is don't disillusion me. The thought have heaven on earth Vancouver has kept me sane for many a year.
