urbpanThis isn't a great photograph, but I had to share. This is in my coworker's yard, on a street behind Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton, Mass. I wanted to get closer, but, you know.

Date: 2006-10-30 07:29 pm (UTC)I've been within 5-10 feet of every SomerVille skunk I've ever seen (that's about 7 now) and I've never been sprayed, or even seen a tail go up...
Do you all expect to get sprayed if you get near a skunk? I never expect it, and it never happens.
Incidentally, there's another 23 for the day. In the (bad) news this morning:
Suspected Sunni Arab gunmen killed 23 policemen Sunday, including 17 in one attack
Replace 'killed' with 'hugged' and 'policemen' with 'bunnies' and it becomes easier to read.
