Arnold Arboretum, Boston

cottonmanifesto and I took today off to do our taxes. Then we took the dogs to the Arboretum.



This is what the sky looked like in one direction...





and this is what it looked like in the other direction. The dark clouds were rolling in (one assumes from the west, but I'm often directionless).







Charlie looks up the apple tree hill at Alexis and Maggie.

Thanks! Yes, for some reason there is a group of a half dozen or so graves from the 1700's on one side of the arboretum (as seen in her post here: http://cottonmanifesto.livejournal.com/610178.html).

Greetings. I've found your journal from the strange_treescommunity, and I was wondering if you would add me back. I like your pictures and your dogs. I'm going to school right now to get a degree in Natural Resources. I doubt I can get a job as a zoo keeper with the degree, but I'd like to work with animals somehow-- but I digress. I don't talk too much about my schooling-- because it's kind of boring right now, but I'd like to read your adventures.

Zoos value experience as much as college degrees, or maybe more, depending on the zoo.

My posts are very boring, as a whole. I do like to post pictures sometimes. I mostly rant and rave about my job!
