Arnold Arboretum, Boston

cottonmanifesto and I took today off to do our taxes. Then we took the dogs to the Arboretum.



This is what the sky looked like in one direction...





and this is what it looked like in the other direction. The dark clouds were rolling in (one assumes from the west, but I'm often directionless).







Charlie looks up the apple tree hill at Alexis and Maggie.

Thanks! Yes, for some reason there is a group of a half dozen or so graves from the 1700's on one side of the arboretum (as seen in her post here: http://cottonmanifesto.livejournal.com/610178.html).
