Balanced rocks in the Fenway

For those of you who are not Bostonians or otherwise in the know, the Fenway is the name of a city park (and the road that runs along it). The Muddy River winds through the Fenway before meeting the Charles. There's a famous baseball field nearby. On Sunday I balanced some rocks on one of the many puddingstone bridges in the park.

it delights me that random people are experiencing these after you're gone.

Well, not so much these--the wind blew them into the river.

Those are absolutely amazing - they seem to be in defiance of gravity. I would also like to echo [livejournal.com profile] cottonmanifesto's sentiment. I saw a rock-balancing (what's the noun?) beside the highway from Iowa to Madison, and I thought of you!

I would love to learn how to do this.

The force is strong in this one.

It would make me so happy to be wandering through a park and randomly come across something like this.

Makes me wish Florida had more rocks.

I must say, you make our fair city look pretty awesome! It will be very exciting for me if I see your rockbalancing one day! I hope everyone on LJ believes that everyone from Greater Boston has a life as nifty as yours!

I concur. I always want to share the weird joy of Boston with everyone, but I doubt they really get why I like this place so much. It's much more than bloodthirsty traffic, constant profanity, and shitty weather!
