Oh, I know you know...but I am required by law* to correct people on the correct usage of monkey/ape, whether from ignorance or intentional, i.e. the word 'monkey' is far funnier than the word 'ape'.

In Holland some people go often to the zoo to bond with the apes. They make funny faces to them through the glass or from over the boundery of water. A few weeks ago a woman who especially liked one gorilla and made often contact with him, is attacked by that gorilla. He escaped over the water and went for her. She was badly wounded.

Zoos usually have a special enclosure for the few animals who can't destroy unarmed humans at will mostly. it's called 'the petting zoo' and i saw 'mostly' because once a llama chased my brother around the petting zoo twice.

Didn't some kids try to punch a giraffe recently? And didn't it lay them all out Stone-Cold Steve Austin style?
