Springfield Massachusetts
May. 28th, 2005 08:34 pmThis series of photos is from Forest Park in Springfield, Mass. Springfield is the largest city on the Connecticut River, the third largest city in Massachusetts, and the largest city of the many named Springfield. Forest Park is a huge city park that includes athletic fields, picnic areas, duck ponds, and an expansive wooded area that feels like you could get lost in it (but you probably can't). Much of the wooded area is clearly a part that used to be used more but was allowed to get overgrown.
