Quincy Quarry

Just now catching up with my pictures from last Sunday! We went to Quincy Quarry, figuring that it was one of few open spaces that wouldn't be crowded on Memorial day weekend. We were sort of right...




It turned out there were kind of a lot of people there, especially compared to a month ago, when we went and barely saw a soul. But they were mostly rock climbers, which is fine by us--they don't have off-leash babies and dogs.


Charlie didn't want to swim. Too many geese.


You can see Boston, on a clear day.












Many of these are camera practice. This one I took from the vantage point of the first photo, with Alexis and the dogs, across the way at the opposite cliff. Pretty good zoom capabilities.


At another high point, we found a tower.


But it's not all rocks--a lot of it is nice woods.
