i grew several on my porch, they only got to be six feet or so. what inspired me where the 10-12 footers, and being told that the ones out back growing on the compost heap were more like 20+ feet tall and fearsome :) then they has those seeds that explode :>

I'm not sure about anywhere else, but it's a spot-on predictor for dry weather in Dallas. The earlier the slime molds start producing fruiting bodies, the worse the summer's going to be: we had a lot of them this April and May.
ooh...i AM learning. because i saw that picture and thought "slime mold" and i looked again and thought, "dog vomit, right?" and that's definitely from 365; there's no other way i could possibly have known that. thanks!
