I've got a new favorite version of "Sexyback."

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] klingonlandlady a new lj friend who is somehow associated with these lunatics. I need to get out more--I didn't know this sort of thing was happening in the streets of Somerville.

That was my favorite song of the whole parade. I'm glad CCR got to march directly in front of ENSMB. I can't believe I didn't see you!

That tuba guy looks familiar. Like maybe he was the tuba guy at the Cambridge City Hall celebration of gay marriage 4 years ago. How many non-Berklee-aged tuba guys can there be in the area?

I still see it! Does Ireland block videos of stationary marching bands?

That's super freaky deaky! And do I hear klezmer in there, too? Too much fun.

Lots of the HONK acts are street-marching bands in a more DIY anarchist fun style, ENSMB is a circus-gypsy-funk-brass band ..? not that i know anything about music, i just do the circus part :) It was a good festival, pretty damn eclectic- there was at least one New Orleans band there too i think.
