Date: 2009-11-18 02:23 am (UTC)In college we lived in a 100+ year old house and those things were everywhere. We came home to one the size of a hand on the wall. A few days before a room mate tried to convince us he saw something crawling around with "thousands of legs!!" and we all laughed at him. He was right, I guess.

Date: 2009-11-18 05:16 am (UTC)That flat was also home to some of the creepiest looking crickets I've ever seen. I admit, before I knew what they were (or had convinced myself of what they were), I'd catch them and freeze them to show other people. And most of them were freaked out, too.
But yes. House centipedes, in my house. When I lived in the Hills, we'd get the normal kind (longer, reddish, significantly fewer legs, much less creepy looking).

Date: 2009-11-18 01:53 pm (UTC)It is very cool, even if I have sales envy, since nobody has ever bought my shirt. But then I never marketed it.
