Now that the leaves have fallen, there are much more interesting views of the river. Unfortunately, I don't usually see them, since I go to work when it's still dark and the sun has pretty much set by the time I go home. Trying to make up for it today I guess.
We're just night owls. I don't work, so I can follow my natural tendencies. My husband doesn't have to get to work until 10, and 5 hours is about all he sleeps anyway (except on weekends, when he can crash for 10). I know it's better to be awake more during daylight than night, and sometimes it does feel like the day gets away from me. But I've spent most of my life doing things according to other peoples' schedules and needs, so now that I'm currently not working it feels good to just let each day unfold as it will without trying to cram it into some shape that doesn't suit me.
Though I might manage a walk at 10 am sometime. Not promising. :-)
