3:00 snapshot #381

Tupelo, the baby tapir, went out on exhibit for about an hour today, for the first time. I shot a million pictures, none of which were any good. This one is pretty cute, though.

The hadada ibises were curious about why people were gathering.

I got my first good look at the Madagascar tree boas.

Saddle-billed stork.

Crested guinea fowl. She's the last one. She's very old and likes to hang out with the old warthog. Lately she's taken to standing on this rail all day long (or whenever I come by she's there).

Has the Sengi tried to kill itself by running into a wall yet? My advice? Plenty of pillows in its habitat!

Hee! over here, Dunnarts are similarly prone to twitchy panic, although slightly less likely to run into a kill-weighted object *g*
