urbpan: (Soylent Screen!)
In this installment of Solylent Screen, I endured The Fountain, a piece of New Age claptrap about mortality and spirituality, starring Hugh Jackman as a successful conquistador, cancer researcher, and soap-bubble dwelling space Buddhist. If you liked and/or understood this attractive yet incomprehensible heiroglyph of a movie, please tell me wtf and/or why.

I have a lot of pictures to upload from last week, and a lot of things to do today. I'll try to share some pics and be reasonably productive as well. This rock balance is on the sidewalk of Brookline Ave in Boston.Read more... )

The fitting room at TJMax. I was trying to buy shorts for my trip. I loathe clothes shopping. They did have shorts in a 31 inch waist (a rarity which keeps me from having to wear a belt or bust a button), but one of the two I selected was way looser than the other so I only got one pair. I also tried on some shirts and was amazed at how itchy linen is. I ended up buying the shirt in the picture. (It's rayon, which was comfortable in the store, but might be sweaty in Hawaii.)
