I found urban wildlife before I even left to go to the field site:

Spring Pond.

Nope, I haven't identified the little ones, but I think they are our native woodland snails.

you are so lucky ... we really dont have snails where i live... well we do but none nearly as impressive as the one on your bike.

Hooray for snails! There are a lot of snails in my neighborhood, though it seems like less than last year.
