I know that flaxseed is good for me and I really like it, but I think I've determined it's the cause of my

ROOM-CLEARING FLATULENCE

Also, I think I'm coming down with a cold.

Well, it's good for you, just not those around you.

Also the use of the blink tag makes that even funnier.

One of the best things about this job sometimes is working alone enough that you can fart freely when you need to, which for me, can be often. Or having a co-worker who's just as gross as you that you can fart in front of. :P

I once scared an animal (either the dik-dik or the muntjac, I think) with a pretty loud fart. I felt bad, but it was funny as hell.

LOL! I love farting when I am alone in enclosures, such freedom! ;-)

Now, when people tell us what awesome, fun jobs we have, we can relate that as one of the many perks. That'll make 'em jealous, for sure!!

Have you been taking it very long? In my limited experience, even if some new food makes me gassy, it goes away in a week or two.

(I noticed this especially doing charity work in Nicaragua, where I suffered the effects of rice and beans for every meal, but only for the first week.)

you don't even understand what this smells like. i'd be hard pressed to find five things that smelled worse.

I doubt it could be worse than the gas my Squishy had last Saturday night. It was so bad that it not only chased me out of the bedroom, but the cats as well.

stop, drop, and roll!

that bad?

i seem to recall an elephant farting incident at a circus years ago. it ate a whole pot of chili when noone was looking, slurp slurp, and well, the fart was sufficient to know a wall down, they claim. i bet it also cleared the tent :)

Fish oil or omega-3 capsules will give you about the same nutritional benefits as flax, FWIW. I take 4 grams worth of a 3/6/9 blend every day and don't suffer anything from it. The only drawback is a fishy burp once in a while if I don't eat a little something with it.
